Use the COKIQ Google-ready template: it explains the purpose of data collection, links to business.safety.google/privacy inside the banner and offers an affirmative consent option, all configured without code.
Site owners using Google Analytics, Google Ads or other Google services with Consent Mode (without TCF).
Google asks CMPs to offer a banner template that is fully configurable from a graphical interface and that meets three points. COKIQ recommends this template in the dashboard when you use Consent Mode without TCF.
The template text says that you and your partners, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to personalise content and ads and to analyse traffic.
The banner shows a "How Google uses data" link to https://business.safety.google/privacy/ next to your privacy policy link, inside the banner itself.
The banner offers Accept All, Reject All and Customize. Nothing is accepted until the visitor chooses.
Text, colours, position, language, buttons and the Google link are all set in Banner settings.
Step 1
Dashboard > Banner > choose the domain.
Step 2
In the Google Consent Mode v2 card, click "Use the Google-ready template". It fills the title and text and turns on the Google privacy link. Edit the wording if you like; keep the purpose and the link.
Step 3
Save, open your site in a private window and check the banner: purpose text, "How Google uses data" link, Accept All button.
Step 4
Pick basic or advanced Consent Mode in the same card. Consent Mode is always on for Google tags.
For existing sites it stays as you set it. The dashboard recommends it for every site that uses Google services with Consent Mode, and the "Use the Google-ready template" button switches it on.
No template does that on its own. It covers what Google asks of a consent banner; your own policy text and tags still need your review.
