Universal script

Use this fallback on any site that supports custom HTML. Replace YOUR_SITE_KEY with the key generated in the COKIQ dashboard.

<script src="https://cokiq.com/api/s/YOUR_SITE_KEY" data-key="YOUR_SITE_KEY" async></script>

Install steps

  1. Create a COKIQ site and copy the generated site key.
  2. In GTM, add the COKIQ template when available, or create a Custom HTML tag.
  3. Set the trigger to All Pages unless your consent plan requires a narrower rollout.
  4. Publish the GTM container and test in GTM Preview before live verification.

Verify after install

  • GTM Preview shows the COKIQ tag firing once per page.
  • The browser loads https://cokiq.com/api/s/{siteKey}.
  • Consent logs appear in COKIQ after a test accept/reject action.
